All Saints Day (Anniversary Trip, Day Two)

On day two of our trip, Josephine, we moved to a hotel. This was a big experiment with you. It was promising to discover you'd be engaged by simple pleasures. Like an air conditioner that you could reach.

Check us out, improvising our food situation.

"Whoa. I am here..."
You enjoyed quite a time in the wetted parking lot. You and mom walked about for a good long while before we got into the rental car to head for historic Jim Thorpe.

SCENIC JIM THORPE

IT REALLY IS QUITE SCENIC

We had an unlikely tip from our waitress at the place we ate lunch. She told us to venture out past the town to a raptor preserve. Dad loves all things raptor, so off we went. But all the adventure tuckered you out. Your afternoon nap was over two hours - in the car! We just sat in the parking lot! You never sleep that well at home!

But then it was on to the predatory birds. And 'Merica!

"Who?"

We wrapped our outdoor activities at the nearby park. Nice lake. SO MANY LADYBUGS.

My ladybugs.
