Stay-at-Home Dad

At the start of April, your nanny needed a few days off and your mom and I got to split two days at home with you. It was the first time since just after you were born that I was home alone with you, and I loved it.

When you get a little diaper rash going, we give you some pants-less time to play and air things out.

This day at home was also the first time I got to take you in a carrier. Usually, your mom wears you using the Ergo, which faces you in toward her. I used the Baby Björn so she wouldn't have to readjust the straps on her carrier, and because you had just gotten old and big enough to face forward. So this was your first time for that, too. It was a big hit. You love seeing everyone and everything.
